Samsung led monitor help

I just picked up a used Samsung led monitor. I have noticed that the color and display looks "white" or light colored. The color is not vibrant but kinda faded. Is this something that can be adjusted or fixed? Its an sa550h 23" 1080p

And what is driving the monitor? Sounds like the saturation level might need a push. IOW, does the video card have an adjustments page you can use?

Go to Samsung's support website and see if there is a driver available for that monitor (as it will have a color profile). Otherwise if you use a generic driver, then you will have to customize the settings using the various avilable hooks and handles:

- Monitor: User Mode
- Windows Video Properties :
- Set Gamma, Color and Contrast for Monitor Display and Overlay

You may also need to calibrate separately any photo applications.
