Yah you can remove them if you wish, its like uninstalling any other program. I dont recommend you do though or use another companys color management program. And yes you can use it with both analog and dvi connection, i use dvi with software installed on my 940b.
I also use the MagicColor and MagicTune to tweak the settings for my 204B, which as Nextman916 said are pretty nice (good). MagicTune is really easy to use (just hit the front panel button to instantly choose between Game, Internet, Text, Movie, or Custom settings). MagicColor is easy to use too, and the 204B's color redition is excellent.Originally posted by: WaTaGuMp

Yeah have been reading what comes with them, do they have to stay installed?

The software applets also include MagicRotation, which is used for auto-calibration of the on-screen image when you rotate the panel to read text in Portrait layout.
While you can uninstall the software I would just leave it on - it doesn't run in the background so you aren't wasting CPU or memory. I don't like to keep uninstalling and reinstalling software. To do this eventually will usually cause you problems in the future unless you low-level format your hard drives at least every year or so. Driver Cleaner isn't available for every program. Why would you want to uninstall the software anyway?
The 204B should run fine on the Windows drivers, but will probably run better on the 204B's own optimized driver.Originally posted by: WaTaGuMp

I have always tried to keep as little as possible installed on my comp, its just the way I have always been since it makes it easier to diagnose things if any issues ever pop up. I will use the MagicTune and MagicColor per the reccomendations, do the drivers need to be used or will it run fine on Windows drivers.
