Samsung is almost like a mafia-run corporation. They are cutthroat and shafty.
That's not to say that we, as consumers, should worry about anything from them. They tend to make great products, and have been improving steadily as a company over the past decade to sort of become the new Sony of yesteryear (quality products with great aesthetics, in every market). They have terrific products that have come out of each division, and for some of those divisions, we as consumers are treated to their quality regardless of what company actually created the final consumer device (as mentioned above, many components they release are top notch).
But they are backstabby in the corporate world, which is the point sdifox made.
