Samsung HDD, comment?

i have 2 samsung drives including a 120gig one much like you have

im very pleased with them, most of all for their quietness...i can bearly hear them. ok the performance isnt in raptor territory but how gives a sh!t about a few seconds extra load time?
 
NeoPTLD, I've had a number of the Samsung 40GB hd's, and am currently running two of the 150GB 8MB cache drives, one as my primary hd and a second in a Vantec external enclosure, for backup purposes.

As otispunkmeyer said, they're no Raptors, but for quiet operation they can't be beat. Plus, they don't generate heat like many other 7,200RPM drives. Three year warranty, and as far as I can speak to reliability, as good as any of the other drives out there today. FWIW I haven't had one go "toes up" yet. I just had one of my older Seagate BIV's die on me the other day, replaced it w/ a Samsung.
