We don't know what price they're charging here. Currency equivalents are always wrong because stuff is just pricier abroad.

The Korean head of Samsung's mobile division said that "t will cost slightly more than the Galaxy S smartphone". The Aussie price actually shows exactly that: the Galaxy S costs AU$960 there off-contract!

So my guess is $650 (or $630, same as the AT&T-only non-expandable 16gb iPad 3G) off-contract, and as much as any other high-end smartphone on-contract.
