Well, the WiFi Tab was supposed to arrive yesterday, but so far it seems that only certain online stores and a single B&M chain (CompUSA, aka TigerDirect) carry it...

Considering that Samsung has just lowered the Tab's MSRP to $350 anyway, why isn't this available in B&M stores across the U.S., like BestBuy and so on?

Has anyone had any luck finding it? Would T-Mobile, Verizon and Sprint stores carry it?

Best is to call those stores and see if they carry it, save yourself some gas $$$$.

Good point.
But there's a complication: I'm in Canada, and I plan on visiting the U.S. right after Easter - that's when I plan to get a tablet (either the Nook or the Galaxy Tab) - and I don't even know what are the U.S. stores of interest :/

If you know anyone who can order it for you, Circuit City has it for $350, but that's online only.

Best Buy has it listed for $429

*edit* you might want to say where specifically you're going to visit, since some places are regional.

I'll be in New York state only - going roughly from Watertown to Buffalo, via Syracuse and Rochester.

Get a P.O. box in America, order from Amazon.

The P.O. Box may not be the best solution. And if something's wrong with the item, returns are a hassle.

So, does anyone know if the Sprint/T-Mobile/Verizon stores sell these tablets (whether new or pre-used)?

I have found that milo is really good at checking B&M stock at places like Best Buy.

I was looking for an iPad2 about three weeks ago, and it flagged two in stock at a Best Buy near me. As I was driving over, I checked again and it said there was one. When I got there, there was in fact just one and they had sold another within the last 20 minutes... Milo.com seems impressively accurate.

Thank you for the milo.com heads-up, pm!
Now all I need is for BestBuy to drop the price...

Some sprint stores have them. I picked mine up at the second one I went to. Incidently, I got it on the 11th in Albany NY.
