Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 screen issue

I have a Tab 2 whose screen I replaced back in July last year. It works great, except every now and then the touchscreen stops responding. Sometimes I can get it working by pressing down hard on the screen. And sometimes I can get it working by holding the sides with both hands and bending it so the screen is pushed upwards. I have opened it up a few times and made sure the cable strip is sitting flush with the clip.

I also have to mention hat the problems started happening after I updated to whatever latest version of android came out for this tablet.
