I wanted to know why when listening to music on my galaxy s II its not loud its kinda low even with volume on max. I use my earbuds that came with my iPhone 4S which are pretty loud when used with it.
Are you using a stock OS or a custom OS?
It could be a problem with your headphone jack. Try another pair of headphones just in case. They should be plenty loud on maximum volume.
I use PowerAmp and it uses DVC which greately improves sound quality and volume.
Are you using stock music player? Have you tried using the EQ to boost levels? I use PowerAmp and it uses DVC which greately improves sound quality and volume.
IC, I recently sold my s2 and always used poweramp and never the built-in app. so I dont recall if it had an eq or not. Anyhoot, poweramp is a must purchase imo. You can try Equalizer: https://play.google.com/store/apps/...idapps.equalizer&feature=search_result#?t=W10.I use the one that says Music Player haven't tried the other one. Amd the music player doesn't have an option for EQ

This can boost some volume. I use the paid verson for my galaxy tab 2 7" to boost Netflix's really lousy sound. It should work on the s2 as well.
