Samsung Forcing Account for TV smart hub now?

Recently plugged my blu ray player into my samsung tv, then disconnected it after watching a movie. Since then every time I start the TV it would look for the Blu ray device, even if it wasn't the last thing used, AND NOT EVEN CONNECTED TO THE TV! WTF!!! So I reset my tv and to install Disney+ on the tv now requires a samsung account? Has this happened to anyone? I've had Disney plus on the TV since Feb/March 2020 and didn't have to create a samsung account the first time. What is going on?

EDIT: How do I wipe out the firmware and roll it back to when I didn't have to create a samsung account for Disney + ?
