can't believe it, I was amazed at having 512MB ram in my PC at one point in time,lol ,my old laptop has 40GB HDD and now this.
A sure overkill if it ever comes to consumer desktops,what app would ever need this much ram.

datacenter... and animation. Animating thousands of creatures on screen at once in a movie means a TON of ram... as in, over 100GB of ram.

Me too, I have a 8gb microSD in my HTC. They also have 16gb microSD cards now. /boggle

Have you seen the memory cards for the razor phones? They are about 3mm in size, you almost need tweezers

6 DIMMs of 32GB on an X58 platform and you've maxed out the RAM capabilty of Windows 7/Vista 64 bit (192GB).

i dont think the X58 supports that much ram...
