Don't want to be a thread crapper, but sometimes it's best to let OTHERS try out the latest tech first, then jump in after the waters have been tested.

Sigh, I just ordered the drive alone yesterday for $120 If I only waited 12 hours I would have saved myself $10 and gotten a free dock as well.

As far as thread crapping, Samsung actually has good track record with hard drives. Their only screw up was with 1TB 7200RPM drives and I don't even remember what was the issue. Aside from that they have been very reliable.

If that was an eSATA dock, I'd jump on this deal. Oh well.

I'm still a bit weary of 2TB drives. 1TB is as high as I go at the moment, though with the 667GB platters out I may change my opinion. I still prefer 2 platter (max) drives though.
