Samsung f2380

I was at Frys today and saw the SAMSUNG F2380. That was a pretty awesome looking monitor. I loved the colors and view angles of it. It was on sale for $279 Is this a good monitor. I'm lookiing to replace my doublesight and was thinking about this one. I know its PVA which is better than TN. I also noticed it doesn't have that grainy dirty look IPS panels have, which is why I don't like IPS panels. But this Samsung really stood out.

This monitor tends to exhibit even worse than usual color shift and black crush than usual from a PVA panel according to this review:

But on the other hand digital versus really liked the monitor giving the upgraded "m" version a favorable 5 stars! Best thing to do if the monitor looks good to you is bring it home and test it out yourself.

Have you taken a look at the samsung xl2370 available at bestbuy? I am thinking about upgrading my 2209wa. I'd be VERY interested to hear your thoughts on the xl2370 vs your L227WTG as the LED blacklighting is supposed to produce very vibrant colors which I've missed ever since getting rid of my L227WTG.

That's what I hate. When you have 2 reviews from good sites, yet both are pretty much the exact opposite. 50% of the reviews say its awesome, while the other 50% says it terrible. Frys only has the display model left but they are willing to give me a 10% discount. So it would be like $260. I may just buy it take it home and check it out. I can always return it...
