Figured this should go here since phones are just computers with more limited uses (though many are resmelbing mini PDAs) but if I'm in the wrong place feel free to move it
Hey guys...I just got a cellphone and its the sony t610 and its really cool. I like it very much. I got a family plan with my brother though and he got the Samsung E105 which is a flip (flips are my fav but I love the style of the T610)

Now I didn't realize it till later but I could have gotten the E105 for 20 dollars cheaper (I didn't pay much anyway but I'm one to "maximize" my dollars ;) ) and I was wondering if the E105 is a better phone and I should go back and get the phones flipped around. I haevn't read much on the E105 since I didn't learn of this till recently, but I have read a lot of the T610 and I like that...but when I looked at my bros phone it seemed more "advanced" at a cheaper cost.

What do you guys think? I noe there has to be some gadget nut at AT who has som info ;)

Anyways, thanks ^_^

keep it charging for a few more hours, i had the same problem, the t610 is screwy.
Also watch out for the lcd screen, it's very easy to crack.

Can I do that? Because I read http://www.mobiledia.com/forum/topic6680-0-asc-10.html here that if I do that then it thinks the battery is full and instead of getting the normal talking time, the batter will be like 10% full and it will think its full

My brother on his Samsung E105 did the same thing ><

I did leave it charging like 9 hours yesterday afte rI found out but i'm worried its in vain ><

For me, it automatically shuts off after ~10 minutes charging. So I just press a button to get the phone started again.
Kept doing that 10 more times and I just said screw it and took off the power plug.
I guess if you've charged for 9 hours, it should be fine.
There's definitely a battery problem with the t610.

yeah i think i may go back today and tell them what happened, and if they won't replace the battery, I'll just ask for an entirely new phone (lol again prolly the T610) since i'm only on day 2 of 15 for their phone return policy

I havent had any hardware problems with my T610. It has Bluetooth, that was a big plus for me. Camera aint the best but I dont really use it too
much anyways. The screen gets dirty easy but that doesnt bother me either. I don't really like Samsung flip phones. GF had one and it is not very tough. After a several drops the screen got all messed up. Not hard drops either. I like my phone...
