Samsung Digimax V3 digicam

I got mine when I got into a Hot Deals Forum thread for this camera 5 years ago. 3.2 megapixel, cost $186 shipped. It uses SD cards, a 32 MB card was supplied and I bought a couple of 256 MB cards. Will it work with the big SDHC cards, say a 4 GB or 8 GB?

All of the information I can find just says SD/MMC cards. That doesn't necessarily guarantee that SDHC won't work, but it's not likely with a camera that old...

even if it works the camera might not be able to format or read the file system of a card that big. a lot of cameras used the FAT16 file system with its 2GB partition limitation. so you'd have a camera with a 4GB card that could only address 2GB of it.

I think I should figure it will only use <= 2 GB SD cards with FAT16 formatting. My SD specific card reader might also only work with these cards (free after MIR from one of the chain office supply stores) also around 5 years ago. Thanks!
