I dun know. The website I work for has 3 sticks of the 256mb DDR333 and 3 sticks of the 512mb DDR333. I'm supposed to review and test their overclocking sometime in the next week or so. Same with like 4 other brands of ram here......

I would rate the stick I got as just ok.

Only runs at Cas 2.5, not Cas 2.0 even at 266 Mhz.

Runs OK at 182.5 Mhz default voltage, but I had to set my Epox (p4-SIS chipset) board to normal memory times, would lock up with Fast/Turbo/Ultra timmings @ 182.5 Mhz. That's also the limit of my 1.6a chip, so it was good enough for me.

Still gives me great memory benchmarks

I have some in my system and love it. I'm running it at 278mhz with the fastest timings possible. My machine is rock solid.

Has anyone actually answered the question?

The two posts above are actually posts about UNDER-clocking this memory and running at default speeds.

Does anyone have any real stories about achieving speeds above 166/333?

A lot of people on the amdmb.com forums like it. They usually get it to 180fsb pretty easy with more voltage (2.8volts). Just make sure it has the Samsung PCB AND chips. Not just Samsung chips, it makes a big difference.

it OC's well... you have to burn it in for a little while before you can really take it up, and have it at 1:1, but its grrrreeat!!

I have an Epox 4SDA+ and was disappointed that my 1.6a would only overclock reliably to 2.24 Ghz (140 Bus) this meant the fastest I could run my Samsung 2700 was 175 Mhz (350 DDR).

Epox just released a new Bios, that allows for manually setting the memory multiplier,
so I'm now running my Samsung 2700 at 208.5 Mhz (417 DDR) @ 2.7 volts

Had to back the CPU off to a 139 Mhz bus. But it's still faster overall.

I ran this exact chip from newegg on my friend's ASUS P4S33 (flashed w/ P4S533)
Mem ratio set at 3:6
CPU clock at 2.0GHz @ 100MHz
Therefore mem is actually running at 200MHz or 400MHz DDR
Time Setting @ 2.5-4-4 as I remember...
@ 166MHz or 333DDR, mem setting actually 2-2-2-4 with complete stability
But I haven't really tweak the system...I think when I ran sandra the mem score wasn't where it was suppose to be...I remember them to be around ~2600...hmmmm...If i get a chance I will check what happen and see if I should be where it should be @ ~3000+
