They are OK, provided it's actually a Samsung drive inside and not a Seagate slipped in there (these companies swap back and forth). But, I think you'd still be better off going with a Toshiba like this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...Gki761EmFteKCfysHgX2dxoCc5Lw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds

HAHA! I just read the first review on Newegg and they found a Seagate ST3000DM001 drive inside. The absolute worst drive on the planet hands down. These have a near 50% failure rate in just a couple years operation. RUN AWAY!!!
