Samsung crippled Galaxy Tab wifi?

Its basically a Nook Color with cameras, a GPS, better bluetooth, a non-underclocked CPU, 720p codec support, and hardware buttons. All that for a $100 premium isn't that bad of a deal, especially if someone wants something that works "out of the box."

The real downside is that the hardware difference will mean less third party development than for the original Galaxy Tab or singular devices like the Nook Color or Gtab.

The difference between a Hummingbird/SGX540 and an OMAP3630/SGX530 is pretty significant. The 540 is twice as fast as the 530, more in some cases. Videos that the 540 will breeze through, the 530 is going to choke.

And since it seems to be relatively easy to find Galaxy Tab 3Gs on CL/eBay for ~200, only a fool would pay 350 for a crippled wifi version.
