With the new Chromebook, can you simply forgo the 100GB they provide you for 2 years? Or if you do, are you left with the 16GB SSD only?

I'm wondering if I can use the 5GB in my current Google Drive and not even be involved with the 100GB that it comes with.. mainly because I wouldn't want to become hooked to it and pay for it after 2 years.

I'd prefer to use free online storage, an SD card, local network storage, or a USB3.0 external drive.

Found the answer to my own question: you just don't redeem the offer.

Now for the tough call between the revised dm1z with the E1-1200 or the Chromebook.
