Samsung bug reporting total bytes written?

So, just noticed Samsung Magician is reporting 6.69 TB written on my 4 month old 512GB 840 Pro. With my other Pro and Evos, I install Windows, then move the main Public and User folders (via properties) to a HDD. On this Pro, I just mount a HDD into my User Video folder for ripping and encodes, and it appears that this is counted as bytes written to the SSD.

I have other Evos and Pros running longer with less bytes written in similar setups (without the symlinked folder), so this leads me to believe in it's a bug/miscount.

If you are talking about the SMART values that show amount of data written, that is the actual amount being written by the device.

Yes, I am.

Something ran it up, but my first assumption seems wrong. I've just written 10G+ to the symlinked HDD and it's not moving the counter.

FOr reference the 250GB Pro the 512GB replaced is sitting at 1.6TB written over 18months with the same usage patterns. It also has 3+ OS reinstalls with at least 50GB+ of games installed each time, compared to the 1 on the 512.
