I'm in the planning stages of a new build and have a general question...how important is Samsung B-Die when choosing memory?...I keep hearing it's the best...I want to get 32GB of total memory for my upcoming Zen 3 (or maybe Zen 2) build...I found a 2 x 8GB pairing (16GB total) which uses Samsung B-Die...but I really want to get 32GB of total memory (2 x 16GB) but they don't have 2 x 16GB with Samsung B-Die...is it fine to get 2 x 16GB non-Samsung B-Die?

2) with AMD builds do I need to stick with 2 sticks of memory for best performance or is 4 sticks OK?...I found a 4 x 8GB (32GB total) Samsung B-Die kit but I always heard it wasn't good to fill up all the memory slots for optimal performance

Zen 2 and beyond B Die is really for nerds trying to get the absolute best performance regardless of budget.
B Die Ram is hard to find and generally over priced. I don’t recommend it unless you are building a machine that requires maximum performance and you have an extremely large budget.

what about in terms of 4 sticks of memory versus 2 sticks?...ideally for best performance is 2 sticks better?

2) is 3200 at CL14 better then 3600 at CL16?

I think it is but the difference is super minor like one or two percent. B Die is good if you are going for max overclock and modern processors don't over clock well.
Simply put assuming you have some kind of a budget the extra $100 or $200 spent on B Die is better spent on a video card or better CPU or better cooling. Also B Die is no longer produced thus adding memory in the future would be difficult.
