My main question is gaming more enjoyable on a 19 inch monitor overtop of a 17 inch monitor? I will have my desktop set at 12x10 but i would most likely play games 10x7 due to hardware limitations (even though i just built the system lol) At 1024x768 on a 19 inch monitor, do games look horrendously jaggy, or not much different. This model monitor is the one replacing the 955df and I am samsung bias 😛
 
I have a 997 DF. Once again an unbeatable price/performance reatio in my eyes. I run at 1024 since my eyes suck. This monitor's OPTIMAL resolution is 1600x1200 @ 85Hz, so it should look pretty damn good. As for games, it looks great, what more can i say-check it out at best buy 199-20 MIR.
 
Thankyou, I havent found many reviews on this monitor, but the 955df had great ones, so i assumed its replacement would have improvements (ala refresh rate 😀) I am waiting for it to be stocked in my local future shop, and I need my line of credit to buy it, my desk and chair and to pay off my new comp lol. Thanks for the info. I cant wait to test it out.
 
both are great monitors, i know tons of people with the 955 - the most recent being one of my good buds who just built a new a64 2800+/abit rig. go newegg combos! 🙂
 
I wish I could shop newegg. But being a patriot citizen of canada, they do not ship to us. Bastards 😛
