Friends, my motherboard has a free Pci 3.0 x2, not a Pci 3.0 x4, will I lose performance if I connect a disk like the Samsung 970 Evo Plus to the Pci 3.0 x2?
Between the Samsung 970 evo plus and the Samsung 870 evo because my motherboard has a Pci 3.0 x2 Free which disk is best for me for performance and quality?

You already have asked about both SSDs here:

If the price difference isn't significant, you should absolutely go with the 970 EVO Plus. Just make sure your MB has the M2 slot. SATA SSD's aren't getting better and everything is moving to NVME on M2 which has better performance not just because of max speeds, but also less overhead.

FWIW the other post here is obviously written in ChatGPT, its not wrong per se but its misleading.

Double check the specs on your motherboard - sometimes PCI-E devices borrow bandwidth from each other - if plugging in a second SSD slows down your first one or slows down something else, it might not be something you want to do.

Behavior varies a lot from board to board and chipset to chipset, so there's no hard rule. Just gotta read the docs.
