Samsung 957MB or Viewsonic G90f?

I've kinda ruled out the Viewsonic P95f+ because reactions are way too mixed for my liking.

The samsung is $30 more than the Viewsonic, both do 16x12 at 77hz (what i'll be running at).

What's better?

I have a G90fb, I have no complaints, games look great, pictures in photoshop look great, movies look good and its not so bad on the eyes after long hours of starting.

Do you run 1600x1200?

77 would be way too low for me. If you really want to run 16x12, you'll want at LEAST 85. Second, running a monitor at the max resolution + refresh rate usually results in a fuzzy picture.

Also, just to not, I love my p95f+b. I thought it was just "ok" until I downloaded the ATI Cat 3.9 drivers. Now it is a perfect picture.

My current monitor (Samsung 950p which is sadly starting to die after 4.5 years of daily use) I run at 1280x1024 85hz...i tried 75hz for a day and didn't notice a difference so I think I'll be fine.

I am still CONSIDERING the P95f+ but so many people say the text is blurry above 1280x1024 and even viewsonic's tech support has been quoted on saying the p95f has a soft focus. I just dont want the hassle of sending back 3 or 4 monitors to get a good one.

That could be, I run 1240x960 at 100hz. I wouldnt' know about 16X12. The text WAS blurry at 12x9 until Cat 3.9, then it was perfect. I have exceptionally sharp vision, so it was very annoying. My normal sighted friends didn't notice the blur at all and complimented me on what a wonderful monitor it was (is). This is all at 12x9 and 100 though.

I have the G90fb and it is great. Run it at 1280*1024 at 85Hz and it looks great. One complaint though? Anybody get it where for some strange reason that when you load a game or you change the settings of the video options it loses memory of it being plug and play and sees it as a default monitor. Pretty much anytoime the screen dos it change of video thing, the odd time it goes to default monitor. Teh only way to fix this is to turn off the computer, unplug and plug it back in. I have all the proper drivers for it, I don't know whats wrong.
