Samsung 955sl montior Recos?

I am interested in getting a new monitor. I am considering this short length 19" or a flat 17" like the Samsung 700nf or Viewsonic EF70. I have see the flat ones and know that they are great, but I haven't seen the 955sl. Anyone have advice to offer?

I just recently bought one of the 955sl's.... i like it a lot, too.... it's not flat either way, but it's not annoying or anything like that. 19's are the way to go anyway... if you're gonna drop money into a monitor, at least make it a 19... i got mine for $280 shipped, but i've read that you can get the flat version of the SL, the DF, for around $300... perhaps you should be looking in that direction... but to reco the SL, i say heck yeah, especially because of the price......

Thanks for your help. The 955DF looks nice, but the mammoth footprint (18.3&quot is just too much. Hence my interest in the 955SL (16.0&quot. Anybody else have a strong opinion on the 955SL?

the 955s aren't speced as high as the 950p (ie 16000x1200@60 Hz vs. 1600x1200@75Hz). But I haven't heard anything bad about the short neck 955, but do a search, I am sure there were threads on that monitor before.
