Samsung 955DF

Hello all,

Since this board is overwhelmed with a vast amount of knowledgeable gurus, I will post my question here.

I just recently got my Samsung 955DF and I love it. But I have one minor dilemma. The lower right hand corner has a faint reddish tint about the size of a nickel. If I degauss it goes away for a moment, but eventually evolves back. I moved my bookshelf speakers far away from the monitor and moved everything and anything that may emanate any form of EMF away from the monitor. The reddish blob still exists! Is this normal, as in will it go away eventually when it "breaks in"? Or do I have a defected one?

TIA

I too have a new 955DF and love it. Sounds like you got a defective one. I have had no problems whatsoever with mine and I have speakers and another monitor very nearby.

Probably Defective, though your post isn't the first one about this. Though I have read others that have this problem and the culprit was speakers close that weren't shielded but since you have already did that then I guess it is defective.
