samsung 955DF: left side taller than right on screen?

I just picked this monitor up today.... after being frustrated with an a90f that didnt save the OSD settings. Now the actual visual size on this monitor is different on the left side compared to the right side. The right side is about 2mm smaller than the left side, even when I put it into a perfect a square as I can... is this monitor simply defective? or is there some setting I'm missing? or something else I can do about it ? thanks

Modern flat monitors seem to have a fair amount of geometry problems. Most monitors have no vertical-size-trapezoid adjustment so if one side is off there is no way to adjust it. I made a point of buying a monitor from a place that had a generous return policy. I ended up returning my first Viewsonic E70f because the top horizontal drooped in the middle of the screen and there was no way to correct it.

thx for the info blastman, after reading it i just went and returned it, i think they just dont make CRT's as sturdy as they use to be, time to keep holding out until an LCD is available that wont blur on anything 🙁

I'm pretty sure there's a control to adjust that on the 955DF. I can't confirm though because I just swapped mine for a 15" LCD a few days ago.
