Samsung 950/960 NVME question

Just wondering for those of you with a 950 Pro and those getting the 960 Pro when available how is it used? Are you using it as a OS disk or as a secondary disk? Right now I have a 950 pro as a secondary disk that I use for video converting/transcoding. When the z270 mobo comes out with 4 more pci lanes just wondering if i should have 2 NVME drives (1 os the other secondary) or stick to a standard 2.5 sata ssd drive for the OS and use an NVME as a secondary drive?

I use Handbrake which can take anywhere from 20 minutes to well over an hour to convert my movies then copy them over to my server. So basically
1) NVME used as OS disk or better for secondary disk?(for someone copying large files to a server, using Handbrake often)

2) Do these drives tend to throttle after hours of game playing?

I use both my 950 pros as OS disks. Desktop 512 and a 256 in a laptop.

2. Never get close to throttling under gaming not enough sustained data transfer. only ever have them throttle under synthetic testing.
