I am looking for a good 19" ws and the Samsung 940BW appears very good (on paper at least). It has a full 3 year dead pixel warranty and aslo is HDCP compliant (although I don't know if I will need this.
The alternative to the Samsung is the Viewsonic VX2025 which is 20" but has the advantage of 8 bit and a higher resolutio, but no HDCP compatability and I'm not sure what their position on dead pixels are.
Prices for the two are fairly similar: The Samsung I can buy for AUD339 and the Viewsonic for AUD369.
Are any of the forumites familar with these two models and would be able to provide an opinion, good or otherwise?
