Samsung 940b native res

I'm not exactly an expert on LCDs. I like my games at 1280 x 1024 just fine, but I'd be interested in running them at 1600 x 1200, if possible.

My Samsung's native resolution is 1280 x 1024. It is possible to use a program like Powerstrip to force it to run at a resolution higher than that? If it's possible, is it a good idea?

No you can't run higher than native, you don't have the pixel density for it.
