It is time to replace my 5 year old Samsung crt.

I use the puter mostly for AutoCad, PhotoShop and some movies.
Other than testing out games for the grand kits, I am a non-gamer.

Which lcd is better for my use, 940B or 940T ?

I am open to any suggestions.

Thanks
JT

The 940T offers higher contrast and slower response time while the 940B offers low contrast and fast response time. The 940T would probably be best for you given that it will be able to display a bigger range of colors more accurately. You will have to make sure you can stand the slower response time first, but if so, then the 940T is a no-brainer.

I think the 20ms will be ok for Cad and PS,
but I am not sure how it will perform with movies.

Will I be better off getting a SAMSUNG 204T with 16ms reponese time .

Thanks

If you have the money for the Samsung 204T I'd go for the LG L2000C in no time. It undoubtedly has a better panel inside.
