Samsung 931C or NEC 90GX2

Hey guys, i'm making the jump from a ~21in crt to my first lcd. I read the lcd buyer guide, probably won't go for 1680x1050, cause i spend a lotta time reading text and can't stand small-ish text, and I'm not sure how well demanding games will run at that res on my comp. I'm running opty 170, 7800gtx, 2gig ram, no plans to overclock anytime soon or upgrade any other components.

So what would you prefer:

or is there a better 5:4 monitor out there?

It's gonna be used for surfin' web, occasional gaming/movies, and maybe some light graphics work

The NEC is going for some pretty insane prices at the moment. It's $170 after rebate on Directron. I guess they're really trying to clear out all the old versions (which are still excellent) quickly before they bring out the Pro models.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'm leaning towards the NEC cause I heard good stuff about it, but I haven't heard anything about the 931C. Seems not many ppl have it.
