Samsung 930B vs. Viewsonic VP191

I just bought myself the Samsung 930B to test. I'm going to return it soon in search of better deals. I like it so far. It's quite bright as everyone says, and I do notice that 6-bit panels aren't THAT great, but it's not really an issue for me. I like the 8ms response time and the only way for me to test was to play CS cuz my comp suks so badly to play other stuff at 1280x1024.

Anyways, so I'm wondering how the Viewsonic VP191 stacks up. It's an 8ms gray to gray pixel as Tom reviewed, but avgs a little below 15ms. The Samsung is 8ms ISO because its a TN panel. However, the Viewsonic has a 8 bit panel giving better color? It's definitely more expensive too, so I'm wondering if I should even go for that monitor. I can't find it at Fry's or BB, so that gives me no opportunity to see it in action...

What are your takes. Anyone with the new VP191 w/ 8ms?

The only Brick&Mortar shop near me that carries Viewsonic is CompUSA and I haven't seen this model come in yet. Newegg.com carries it for about $436. I've been looking for a new LCD myself and am looking seriously at the VP191. I did take a look at the Samsung 930B at CompUSA a couple of weeks ago and thought the text looked a bit blurry. If I were to pick between the two I'd go with the VP191. It's rumored to be a better all-around monitor and great for gaming. Here's a thread where Shredman actually bought both and compared them side by side. He did a great little review.

Samsung 930B's not that blurry. Go configure cleartype and it's great. It looked like UBER CRAP at Fry's when I saw it, but I know there wouldn't have been 16 pages of ppl jumping in to buy it here at AT if it sucked that bad. I like it so far. It's a matter of how to get the Viewsonic. I don't exactly like buying online for LCDs (dead pixels and what not). Since Fry's is just a 10 min drive for me, that would be a much better solution.
