Samsung 915N problems

Okay so I got this 19 inch LCD from Samsung and it works great on and off its native resolution except when I change to its not native res I got this msessage box saying they suggest the native res so all I ahve to do to get rid of the message is press the menu button on the monitor. But the problem is that after a few minutes the monitor goes black and that message flies across the screen, and to fix that I ahve to turn off the monitor and then turn it on or minimize and then switch back and then press menu. So is there a way to turn these annoyances off?

This has nothing to do with it but did you buy your monitor from Sams Club? i dont know of anywhere that sells it anymore, and sry i dont know how to help you

You're probably running it out of range and forcing on the downscaler. Make sure you run it at a refresh rate within range, likely 75 or below, but check your specifications for maximum refresh rate.
