Samsung 915N LCD "bleeding" and warm

I got a Samsung 915N and got some white bleeding on the top part of the screen. Also...when I move my finger across the screen..the lower part is low warm...the middle is cooler and the top part (the one with bleeding) is warmer than the lower one.
Are these two things common? Thanx!

doesnt samsung have awesome warranties? i guess i would contact them and ask for a replacement. Sorry if not helpful

I'm guessing either:

1) The backlight is at the top of your display, and this is why is bleeds a little more at the top. In that cases, the issues are related.

2) If the monitor has a built-in transformer, that could be causing the extra heat.
