Samsung 850 EVO mSATA availability

I thought these would be available in the retail channels today for purchase, still can't find them anywhere. Called Samsung and they were clueless.

I bought one from there, it showed them as having 30 in stock a few days ago and they were the only website that showed them as actually in stock (It showed real time inventory, they had like 30 across different warehouses).
Now, it says "unavailable, do not order"... strange. But I can confirm mine shipped, and it is at home waiting for me, I'll actually get it Monday. It was $230 for the 500gb and free ship, so pretty cool deal, although their store has all kinds of weird disclaimers and the item is no exchanges or returns. Hoping they didn't just send me a damn 840...

You can also find them listed at Newegg, B&H Photo, and Adorama... but only in stock at Newegg (a few days ago the release date on their website was 3/5/2015, I confirmed that with them as being March 5th).

Anyway, if you're still interested, reply and I'll get back to you with some review/benchmarks after I get it installed in my new rig 😉

Thank you, I have been checking Newegg and a few other online retailers because Newegg said they would be available on 3/5 but, no one had them :-(.

I will check that link out and I have called a few other retailers that said they should have them on Monday.
 
I purchased from Amazon on 3/5 as a 'Pre-Order' thinking it would be in soon as other sellers were listing it as in stock, and since I had Prime figured I would use Amazon as they were cheapest. Email from Amazon says it will not be in stock until 5/7. NewEgg changed their date from 3/8 to 4/8 now. Noticed the link above from Shopblt has been removed.

Can't seem to find a date from anyone that says when it will actually be released. Starting to wonder if the vendors that claim to have it in stock will actually email you its backordered or something after ordering.

as of early this afternoon I noticed newegg business had them. if my lappy didn't have user reported issues with msata I would buy but limited return policy on this item makes me wait for amazon.
