I have an nvidia card also, I wonder if that's the issue. I have another machine with intel 3000 HD graphics that I need to upgrade as well. I bet that one will be fine.

could be the card, idk. i specifically mentioned the bios update because not only is the samsung bootable garbled but i also lost the use of my usb mouse with an acronis usb bootable. ps/2 mouse is good.

my Logitech G9 doesn't work with Acronis TIH 2010 bootable ISO either. More "simple" mice work fine though..?
