what is a good tolarable CRT monitor screen regulation? Scree regulation is when image expands in bright areas and contracts in dimmer areas. This effect is more or less visible in all monitors, but normally more so in very cheap monitor models. If your monitor has a very bad screen regulation, the picture "zooms" when you adjust the brightness control.

My samsung 765MB seems expands and contracts around 1mm, is this seems to be a normal one??I found that this monitor has perfect geometry at 1024x768 but when using it at 1152x864 the geometry performance drop..... Could this result of a bad graphic card?? I got a old Tseng Labs graphic card. Plan to upgrade it soon

Does graphic card also affects the monitor's screen regulation??
Thanks for any help
