Samsung 731B has a $40.00 rebate this week

Just about everyone is selling the Samsung 731B for under $200 after rebate.

Wife needs a new monitor, no games, mostly casual video stuff.

Any info on this monitor?

I see there was a 730B which I suppose was the same thing

As much as I like Samsung monitors, the Hanns 19" is a much better buy right now. $229-$100 rebate = $129 (plus tax) and shipping is free.

In that case, have you looked at the Hanns-G HU-171D from PC Connection? With free shipping and an $80 rebate, it nets out to $89.95.

Or does it have to be a Samsung?
