Hi,

Does any one own this TV?

I was wondering what the native resolution is. Some places say its 1280 x 720 and other places say its 1024 x 768.

I'm interested in a 3D TV with a more "normal" PC resolution.

Any input?

What do you mean "normal" PC resolution?

Anyways the PN51D490A1D is 1360x768.

A criticism of 720P TV sets is that they make bad PC monitors because they have a strange resolution that isn't a standard PC resolution. I'm concerned about PC gaming on a 720P set so I'm asking for input.

I asked about the resolution because newegg says it has a native resolution of 1280 x 720 as opposed to 1024 x 768. Do you own this set?

Its odd because Samsung says 1024 x 768 while newegg says 1280 x 720.

I sorry, I should have said native resolution. I thought this might make a difference in image quality and also it is a 3D TV and 1080P and 3D might not mix well with my PS3.

What are you talking about?

Samsung clearly states 1360x768 for the model you mentioned.
