Samsung 700IFT Black worth it?

this looks like a kickass 17" flat crt monitor. what do you guys think? it can be had for about $370-380cdn over here. Is it worth it? The 17" 753DF goes for $210... it only does 1280x1024x65Hz, whereas the 700IFT does 1920x1440x64Hz (1280x1024x85Hz)

Note that I take LCDs into consideration. The point is to have the highest quality, easiest-on-the-eyes monitor that remains so even at higher resolutions/settings. Also, I would prefer black over ivory, as I've started going black by buying a black keyboard (only $10, woot!). however LCDs are quite insanely expensive (to get a decent one)
