I'm not sure if the faceplate is removable...
but if it is, simple as pie.
remove cover
tape up any parts you don't wanna spray (like the screen) [use masking tape, good quality so paint doesn't seep in]
goto local hobby shop and purchase LEXAN PAINT!
they usually come in small cans. I have acan made by "tamiya" right in front of me. Tamiya paints are the highest quality of them all and should run you about $4-6/can. There are 2 different models, the one you want is th PS version... I think there's a GS version. The version identification is located on the top of the can.
Anyway, spraying instructions are very simple. if you want a strong even paint job, spray in very thin layers and let it dry. you should star your spray away from the phone and brush it across the faceplate fairly quickly so the paint won't blotch. Will take a bit of time painting and waiting for it to dry, but it'll pay off in the end. Plus this method will use your entire paint can up by the time you finish with about 5-6 layers.
Anyway, I've done this for Nokia faceplates and its't not hard at all. The lexan paint won't chip or fade if you don't drop it off a 2 storie building so everything should be fine after it dries!
