I just received my Samsung 512MB PC2700 but I'm a little worried. The memory modules they have at googlegear doesnt use samsung PCB and I'm worried that might hinder my overclocking performance. Can you guys post your highest stable fsb reached? maybe along with the memory timings and settings?

Running my 512mb stick from Googlegear @ 177mhz @ default SPD @ 2.6v. I also have "Top Performance" enabled on my Gigabyte 8SRX BIOS. I think it can go higher but my 1.6A doesn't seem to like 143+ FSB, so it's currently running at 2.25ghz @ 142fsb and 177 memory. Haven't tried messing with the memory timings yet, gonna try that next.

I've got (2) 512MB Samsung pc2700 modules that I got from googlegear running at 185mhz with turbo settings on my epox 8K3A+.

Good memory

I just got mine yesterday and am running the FSB at 133 mHz and the ram at 2.66 or 177 mHZ with the fastest timings on my Gigabyte 8IRXP and it runs fine.

look into the kingmax memory. w/ 5ns modules..I think it is comparable in price....

I have ran my memory at 386mhz ddr at 2.5v and my record is 417mhz ddr at 2.7v....

Will this memory run CAS 2-2-2 at PC2100 (266Mhz) speed? If so, does anyone know about how high it will run CAS 2-2-2

I'm thinking about buying this stuff:

Memory

With a motherboard from this place, is this memory comparable to the Googlegear Samsung?

i had the stuff from googlegear. I could get one chip to 166mhz at 2.5 3 3

I could get the other stick to 170mhz at 233

Just depends on your luck. You should of bought some where else because PCB is very important as well 🙂

But since googlegear charges a restocking fee no matter what (unless u send it back for replacement or buy something else) your stuck with it.
