Pretty good price but the write speed on this thing is slow. Might not be worth it. Just only up to 1.2mbs write.

The best goes up to 3.6mbs and cost over 600 bucks.

But good ones can be had for bout 210 at dell home with 50 coupon and 10% off. Its the simpletech 512 that has a write speed of up to 3mbs.

If speed is not an issue for you then, I would actually reccomend having 2-4X128. At about the price of 140. Also at dell. The theory is that its better not to put all your eggs in the same basket.

But if you deal with huge files, like movies or high resolution pictures then a 512 is a good thing to go to, even then a fast transfer is highly reccomended and desired.
