Samsung 3d tv repair...

Had a hilarious experience that should have been videotaped and youtubed. So Samsung sent a guy to fix my 3D issue where I was having terrible ghosting and distortion when viewing 3D.

This guy that came had never seen 3D before, so he goes to a 3d channel which shows up 2 images in sidebyside. You are supposed to hit the 3D button to get into 3D, but he kept pressing the glasses sync button and then he called to samsung support to say 3d was not working. He then argued with me saying that espn 3d channel does not exist. I had to show him the tv guide to show the channel existed. He also fussed about the warning that is displayed when activating 3d that it could affect you eyes, dizziness if viewed for long time.

Finally he nor his buddy on phone could figure whats wrong so they opened the tv and replaced the mainboard. And issue was fixed. But now the tv wont connect to internet. He checked the cables ran network setup, asked me to reset the cable modem. After that he said it will take 15-30 mins for it to work and left saying the issue he came for was fixed.

While leaving I heard him say on the phone, the 3d still seems to have issues, because everything on the 3d channel is appearing double but customer said its alright so he is closing the case.
