Samsung 32x CD Writer for 40$ after rebate at Best Buy(3$ after Amex BVG)

The Samsung CD-Writer is 39.99 after 2 mail in rebates of 30$ each at Best Buy this week.
If you have an Amex BVG credit card(gold,platinum) then it makes it even sweeter as it is available for 63$ on Essential Computers.

I have had no problem pricematching OEM stuff on BVG.
I don't know if this is a rebadged drive. Maybe someone can comment on that.

I believe they make their own drives. My experience with Samsung CDROMs and DVDROMs has been good, quality seems good.

i was considering this drive earlier today but i don't know anyhting about samsung drives.
can't be any worse than the philips 8x hunk of crap i have now. man i hate that drive.
it would be a nive improvement on speed as well.

Awesome burner. I decided to get the LG instead. LG is Samsung's biggest rival. Good thing about these drives are that they are reliable and most importantly QUIET!!!!, compared to the liteon and other drives I bought

Sounds like a good deal but both rebates require the original UPC. Anyway around this?
