https://pcmonitors.info/samsung/samsung-u24e590d-and-u28e590d-uhd-adaptive-sync/

Both models share the same 60Hz (variable with Adaptive-Sync) refresh rate and 3840 x 2160 ‘4K’ UHD native resolution. Matte anti-glare screen surfaces are also used, which should be fairly light (i.e. not overly grainy). The 28” (U28) model uses the same panel as Samsung’s previous 28” UHD offering, the InnoLux M280DGJ-L30 which is a TN (Twisted Nematic) panel. This offers 170°/160° horizontal/vertical viewing angles and has a 370 cd/m² typical maximum brightness. The 23.6” (U24) model uses a Samsung PLS (Plane to Line Switching) panel with 178°/178° viewing angles and a typical maximum luminance of 300 cd/m².

Meh the 32E850 is still HDMI 1.4.

Guess we will have to wait until 2016 for HDMI 2.0 displays.

I would like if freesync monitors were launched with both lowest and highest refresh rate written in the specs.

Correct. But he could be just hoping for regular 60Hz 4k (without variable refresh) over HDMI in order to use the monitor like a TV.

if you read the text and not the spec it says:

- Upgraded HDMI Support: With an upgraded HDMI that supports UHD resolutions at a 60Hz refresh rate, 4K content plays smoothly without delay, even when connected to AV devices.

Interesting. How is that possible without version 2.0 of HDMI?

The ports include; HDMI 1.4, HDMI 2.0, ‘DP 1.2a+’ (with Adaptive-Sync support) and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The HDMI 2.0 port and DP 1.2a+ port support 3840 x 2160 @ 60Hz whilst the HDMI 1.4 port is restricted to 3840 x 2160 @ 30Hz. The ‘DP 1.2a+’ port has Adaptive-Sync support, meaning it can be used with AMD’s FreeSync variable refresh rate technology.

The other two posted (24"+28") list HDMI 2.0 Seems like the 32" is more of a budget IPS model ???. They might have it available on more of an upscaled model. At least they do have it on some models.

Maybe it's just missing in the spec sheet for the 32", if you look at one of the pics you can see two HDMI inputs. Something is definitely wrong on the overclockers site, since it only says 30Hz over HDMI for all three monitors.

Could be. I suppose it's cheaper in the long run to use the same components for all.

Extremely clear picture. The downside to a 24" 4k is windows scaling.

4K at 24" is overkill IMO. I'm still using a 1200p 24" monitor and it looks pretty good. I certainly can't see individual pixels with my face about 2.5 feet from the monitor.

Isn't it only DP1.2a+ that supports freesync and not any of the HDMI inputs?

Yeah but for me the selling point isn't freesync since I don't have an AMD GPU. I'd be willing to dump my current DP1.2 4K60 monitor for a HDMI 2.0 display so I don't have to deal with displayport and its flickering and flashing and resizing, or any time I have computer issues or need to build a new comp and need display image on multiple boots I don't have to have find my HDMI cable.
