I have one -- and I love it. I guess I suck at knowing good monitors. Costco has it for the same price BTW -- better warranty and return policy at Costco.

I was about to order this one last week to replace my 20", but found out it's glossy black. I really hate this--the glare and reflections off the frame is distracting.

I went to get this monitor at circiuit city and it didn't work out. circuitcity.com shows a 10% off coupon if u choose in store pickup that ends on Saturday. Well the coupon is expired and ends on saturday meant last saturday. They are blatantly false advertising a coupojn that doesnt exist. I called customer service to no avail. They wouldn't honor the 10% off.

Newegg's price dropped also. It's $439 - $50MIR , but you have to deal with their draconian/natzi-esqe dead pixel policy.

Someone tell me if they see the coupon if u go to circuitcity.com's homepage and click on the "Red Dot Sale" on the left side in the middle. Can't they get sued for that?

No coupon. Search for red dot sale yielded 6 items, no monitor.

Is viewing angle the only downside to the TN panels? I'm trying to decide between this and the 22" sammy at costco.. although I guess the 22 is probably TN too..

Well from what I read and researched, trying to decide between the Westinghouse 24, Dell 2407WFP, Samsung 245bw, and ACER P41wb is that the Samsung has the best TN panel out right now. Really the only major thing is the viewing angle and from what I read and heard, that point is very subjective but generally falls into the "noticable" category. But at the current prices for all these monitors, the lack of a viewing angle(real or not) is justified. Also color reproduction is another issue, but once again, very subjective. Maybe to a professional digital designer it is a big negative but if you are on that level of design, you probably aren't looking for $400-$500 LCD's but something CRT or those $2k+ LCD's.

As far as the circuitcity thing, apparently in IE6 the "red Dot Sale" section has a bug in the flash object where the whole section is treated as a clickable image and no matter what I click, it takes me to this page.

Weird, but no matter who I talked to, they wouldn't give me the 10% off because they couldn't recreate it.
