I really want 3 things from my next LCD display:
That bright coating that some companies use
1920x1200 resolution for 16X9 1080
HDCP for watching HD on Windows Vista
The Acer AL2416WD has the first 2 but not the HDCP. The Samsung 244T has the last 2 but not the first. Above all I simply want a widescreen display with the bright coating on the screen. Yes I know it's highly reflective, however I totally dig it and now must have it.
I know there is a large price difference however the 214T is not 1920x1200 so it can't be used in my comparison. I'm just about ready to get the Acer AL2416WD but not having HDCP is really keeping me on the fence. I want my next monitor to last me 5 years.
Please, does anyone know of a monitor that offers all 3 thing that I want? If I get the Acer AL2416WD I'll be totally screwed out of HD content on Vista right?
