Samsung 226 or 2253BW

Hey.

I'm going out to buy a new 22" monitor later today (my old 19" broke down), and i've narrowed it to these two for the ones which they sell.

If anyone has any other good monitors in this price range, i'd love to hear about it, but basically i'm wondering which is better, what the difference is and why; between the 226BW and 2253BW.

226BW and CW are the same except the CW is newer and has a 97% wide gamut colour or something blah

2253BW i dont know much about but i got a new monitor a week ago the 2232BW and it is awesome, its newer than 226BW i think but not by much looks great and the picture is good also... honestly i dont think you can go wrong with wither one of these ... these samsungs ar every similar to each other so price may be a deciding factor... the 2232BW was about 330 and the 226CW was 400 at the time of my purchase a week ago ( regular prices no sales or anything)

Thats a tough call........... 226BW has a chance of being a samsung panel, but unlikely i beleive.... On the other hand with the 2253 you are going to get a decent monitor, probably better than the 226BW that doesnt have the samsung panel...... Its really a flip of the coin, but I would go with the 2253BW probably.

go with the 2253BW, none of the 226BWs manufactured recently have Samsung panels. The 2232BW has input lag according to most reviews, and the 226CW was a total screw up...the colors are oversaturated and uncorrectable. 2253BW is at least equal to the 226BW not including S panels but those are rare anyway now unless you live in Europe maybe.
