Samsung 225BW colour issues

I'm finding that the colour on my 225BW is off a great deal. the tuning software does not seem to fix the problem and when I try and tweak the colour I end up with some very strange looking colours compared to what I should have. I bought my Samsung 225BW from Canada Computers who charge a 15% restocking fee for returns and not much in the way of support. Has anyone had any experience in talking to Samsung about correcting colour issues?
Has anyone else had similar issues with colours on this monitor?

The red of say the BBC news site comes out as a bright red with a hint of rust colour where it should be a dark red. The blue Internet explorer looks sea foam, not light blue. The colours are just off... hope that helps explain it.
